with half a foot and three quarters of a brain into lalaland, i shall nonetheless bravely attempt to blog abt the past few days of my life (: haha now, after that powerful sentence(YESI INSIST), there's only abt one tenth of my brain power remaining O.o hurrs.

sentosa + stayover at jingsheng's house with hc oac on saturday! fun FUN and still MORE FUNN :D time flies when you're with ppl you feel comfortable with, and i rlly miss this bunch of ppl whom are always so spontaneous and funloving! played volleyball, frisbee, tho not for long cos the sun was scorching HOT, and wells, our stamina rlly cmi alr. i nid to exercise! had dinner at marche after tt. ROSTI yumms(:

upon reaching js hse, we set up 2 mahjong tables, one playing money and one playing NO TAI. haha (noobs!) jus kidding! being the uber PRO me, of cos i belonged to the former. hahaha sab and weijie din wanna play money, but guess who lost in the end?! the ppl who wanted to play money, aka chuanwei and me. haha oh wells, whats new! but MAHJONG had nvr felt so fun. i was a happy loser (:

reached home early in the morn, dropped dead on bed w a pissed mum nagging in the bkgrd, and woke up again in the evening, just in time to catch waterfools, one of the highlights of waterfest at boat quay w russell and yawen! haha YAWEN being soo nice, (hahaha did i leave out anyone?) went to chop seats early at harry's so tt we had a front seat view of the river where the performance was gonna be. thkew(: the perf was intriguiing, cos i had no idea how the props cld manoevure (damn i cant spell, heck) themselves on the water, and how the cast cld balanace so well on the tiny platforms! the plot (if there was one) was either too abstract, cos i totally din get the musical at all. ohwells, the fireworks were nice tho! (: ended up watching the f1 race on the teevee at harry's bar. haha cos we were too lazy to move. and omg the race is 78 laps! imagine a 300km/h vehicle zooming ard the track 78 times! a total waste of petrol man, with the rocketing oil prices -.- qt exciting to watch tho, esp those accidents and spins! haha(x

work's been okay(: i feel like i'm doing accounting homework, cos most of my work involves excel wkshts! haha and its amazing how work hasn't repeated itself, so everything's a new challenge to me. am really grateful for nice colleagues i have(: i've endless supply of food tks to them, and i'm always snacking 3/4 of my time working. thats 6hrs omg! F-A-A-T.ughs.had dinner at some nice ambience place at haji lane w ambern tdy, celebrated yawen's and cheryl's bday(:

realised i hvn been spending much time at home, and i've been incurring my mum's wrath more and more often o.o

this is rach

my life has been slightly more happening lately. been going down to bbdc for driving lessons almost everyday. and everytime i go there i see a familiar face! like alice, chaorong and amandie! one driving lesson can take up half a day including the travelling time, the next half day can be taken up by cooking/ meeting up with friends/playing sims/ watching videos. haha maybe i don't need a job afterall. i'll be a full time driving student! hopefully can get my licence soon!

on thurs night i went to queenstown (some charity/counselling center) to give tuition to sec 4 girl. i guess she's there cos of some family issues which i'm not sure abt yet. my 'job'(not paid of course) is to give her tuition in english and math and to get to know her better and somehow influence her? so during my first lesson, she took out this piece of paper that stated her holiday homework. it was sooooo long omg i really doubt i can finish that if i were in sec 4. it would require one to do at least 1 exercise per day for the whole hol and i dont think she was ready for such commitment. i rmb hating math like crazy in the past. but i guess the difference is having the motivation to try and entirely giving up. her ambition is to be an air stewardess. and i can totally understand her frustration in trying to do math problems like finding root of 2025 using prime factorisation. i mean, just use a calculator for heaven's sake! plus i would say she would make a really good air stewardess. haha but lets not undermine the purpose of education. i think she's a really intelligent girl, just that she has absolutely no interest in what she's studying at all . which as i mentioned, really understandable. the problem is, i'm not exactly the best person to be giving math tuition to a sec 4 girl. pri 4 maybe, but not sec 4. but somehow, something tugs at my heart and i do feel the need to help her improve a little, to at least gain some confidence that she can achieve something if she really puts her heart in it. it does suck trying and always failing and then believing you will never be anything good. so i'm going to popular this weekend to pick up the sec 4 textbook and complete all the exercises before i see her each week. haha my math is going to become v zai! (:
had seniors' camp for hss yesterday! which wasn't too bad actually, considering how much i hate camps. but it was considerably fun since i had nina, shuwei, andy and charlene arnd with me. was quite slack too cos we could escape from stuff we didn't wanna do (like pool games). fright night preparation was quite fun too! and i made a few friends from the senior batch like jackson and kai who kept making us laugh like mad and feeding us with tiger beer the whole time. i realised being a ghost on fright night is uber boring! luckily i had charlene with me to gossip while waiting for the groups to appear at our station. but it was damn amusing to suddenly creep up on the group when they didn't notice and make them jump HAHA. i was totally laughing behind my red veil man. i really seem to think that ppl from hss are quite like-minded and it feels good to be able to talk to ppl i don't know and find that we can click. why was it so difficult to make friends in hall? is there really a disproportionately large no. of weird ppl in my hall? or is it just me. hmm.
i realise some thoughts always manage to slip into my mind all the time when they're not supposed to. 我为你找了一百个理由我就是那么傻.

updates

i feel abit unethical leeching on huiwen's blog. haha but just to clarify- this is not huiwen. its just her EVIL TWIN haha! so if you're stalking huiwen, you're effectively stalking me too.
busy day today! woke up quite early for an interview at science centre for an ad-hoc job to teach little kids science at shopping mall roadshows hahah. dunno why i felt quite nervous at the group interview although its actually nothing much. at first i thought they were gonna test me on my knowledge of the planets in the universe or something like that.. but thank goodness it was easy enough. but i'll be away 6 of the 14 days they need people arnd so don't know if i'll get it afterall. gah. its good money though! $7.50/h for 10 hours a day! and near my house too! (plazasing). plus i'll be working with my psych friends!
after that i went to bbdc for second round of final theory evaluation. it proved to be my lucky day! cos at first i went there early to apply for my pdl. but there were tonnes of ppl after 20 mins it still wasnt my turn. but i went for the theory practice session. in the 10 min break they happened to call my queue no. and i got my pdl in lightning speed! yay! after that i went for my evaluation- which i passed! woohoo! exactly 90% somemore. then, i decided to log in to my acct at one of the stations and found out that someone gave up his/her FTT slot this month so i don't have to wait till july to take my FTT and i can book my final test date soon! which means i'm super motivated to complete all my lessons this hols. things are finally on the right track.
i've been spending so much $ recently. although i haven't bought ANYTHING TANGIBLE at all! driving costs a bomb. and facials are equally bad. all the cash i'll be earning this hols will be spent ): miraculously i've been able to stay off shopping for sometime. since i see different people everyday i don't have to worry about wearing the same thing heh.
oh and the job at rp yest. haha it was tiring standing for one whole day and begging evil kids to complete a shitty survey but at least it was somewhat fun. cos only andy and i were there with no one to supervise us so we ended up talking a whole lot of crap and testing our psych theories on unsuspecting students. plus we only effectively worked from 10-2 instead of 9-5 cos the rest of the time no one was walking arnd the area. and we STILL managed to exceed our target and hit 112 surveys! happy! oh and i met doug and mel there too! but honestly i don't look forward to another day of doing the same thing. some students can be really evil to you.
despite all the activity, i still find myself at lost at what to do at home sometimes. like now! which is why i'm blogging. there're times when i just don't feel like replying smses, no one updates on facebook and theres nothing decent on tv. i should go borrow a book from the library man.

my feelings fluctuate too much from day to day.

secret mystery blogger strikes again!

my head feels light from that glass of beer and i'm abit whoozy haha but im still gonna blog!
went back to hall to shift my stuff today and filled a car load thanks to my bro and dad.. still gotta go back on mon to shift more stuff. feels as if i'm shifting HOUSE instead of shifting ROOM. now my room at home is stacked to the brim with bags and bags of who-knows-what (i'm not really interested in looking in them) that i have absolutely no time to pack/clear. gah.
went to visit samuel at sgh today. and he's looking good! for a cancer patient that is. and after he described in gory detail what he went through. the needles and the oxygen and the blood dont scare me cos i've gone through all that 3 times already in the emergency ward.. but to walk in with a clear head to an operating theatre knowing that someone is gonna cut right through your neck and not knowing if you'd walk out of there again, that takes guts. could tell he was being brave in front of us but it is really scary not knowing if the damage could be permanent, and whether the illness could recur. i really admire him for still being so witty and funny and appreciate of our presence.
met up with 72 and we girls had fun! shall not bitch abt someone who was being rather disgusting today. >.< thought you should have grown up by now.
uni people seem alot more childish that jc friends in alot of ways.

-secret mystery blogger-

i haven't blogged for at least 6 months. but now exams are overr!! can't believe 1 year of uni has passed just like that. guess i've really grown up quite abit this past year.. with all that has happened. its why they say things which don't kill you will only make you stronger. and i'm really happy with the person i've become right now. to throw aside the cynicism and be able to strive hard towards some goal and ACTUALLY achieve it, i think that's one of life's greatest joys. yet i don't want to be caught up in it all, so i must always always remember where i've come from, and how far i've come. the key is contentment. along the way, there've been people who've made all the difference, and i'm truly grateful for them.
this ending isn't the happiest, but i really believe its the best kind of ending. the kind of ending that will come eventually, but initiating it now makes things easier for all of us. and now that about 2 weeks has passed, i believe in the certainty of that decision. i no longer feel trapped between the rational and the emotional and i'm glad i've just chosen to take it one way. anyhow, if i could tell you one last thing it would be thank you, sorry, and goodbye.

on a happier note, hw and i went to sentosa yest! wheeee! i haven't had so much fun in a long time..and omg i am red as a lobster too with a ugly tan line! gah. but too bad it was a public holiday with the beach crammed with lots of ....... ugh.
but we had fun tanning at my poolside and swimming in the pool yaye!
went for stupid driving evaluation today and it sucked cos i failed boo. then we went iceskating with william! william is an evil monster who made me fell ): the rink was full of pro skaters and i felt like a major obstruction to them. so sad they have to share the rink with noobs like me haha. but sometimes i really wonder if they really enjoy what they're doing. its like dancing, if you dance for fun its enjoyable but once you put in the competition and the long training hours it sucks like hell. thats why i don't mind just being able to skate arnd the ring and not fancy stunts. i mean i do get the sense of achievement part but sometimes you just wanna do something to enjoy it. okay i'm just lazy lah ahhaha.
then i met up with KENNY CARE BEAR and KEVIE BUNNY. hahahaha! those are the new names we've come up for ourselves. i won't reveal what i'm called here:p we ate at nice pasta place at raffles city, had yummy desserts at azabu sabo at marina square and went photocrazy at esplanade! kenny care bear wants to be the godfather of my children HAHA so cool my children will have an american godfather nxt time.
okay tmr will be another busy day packing stuff in hall and visiting someone at sgh and 72 class outing had clarkequay (so hip).
