dinner first! didnt know such a YUMMY food place actually existed a few steps from my house! dad mum and i went there for a nice sumptuous dinner tt cost 90+ for 3 pax. hahaha pretty ex but no heart pain cos my dad sponsered(: BLACK PEPPER CRAB + POMFRET STEAMBOAT + HOTPLATE TOFU = HEAVEN! :D best dinner i ever had for a longlong time!
nxt, slave labor. it being mother's day, naturally being the filial daughter i am -coughs-, i acceded to ALL her requests! (well, maybe except for one, the M letter word tt involves losing lots and lots and lots of money?)and tt included tidying up the horrendously messy storeroom. 18yrs of junk and whatnots accumulated in that tiny space piling all the way to the ceiling is no joke man! sweated and toiled for 3hrs transporting unwanted stuff to and fro my house and the void deck rubbish dump.with my mum's help of course.she's one brave woman(:
THEN, mahjong! hahahaha despite the minor loss i suffered the previous day at prince william's house JUST the day before, i was once bitten but twice UNSHY. did not learn my lesson and went to gamble again! this time with kiap, russell and sab! hahaha played one round which lasted for FOUR hrs from 2am till 6am.omg damn slow! considering the day before we finished one round in ONLY two hrs! haha thanks to ppl who five tai zi4mo1 like nobody's business o.o -stares accusingly- YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! hahaha(x ultimate winners were sab and kiap, while i lost TWENTY BUCKS ): in one round yes.sobs! haha russell lost FIFTEEN.but plus petrol i think he lose the most, poorthing.this is what i call KARMA! hahaha okay just kiddin(x thanks for the lift there and back ya! maybe. JUST MAYBE. there's actually a glimmer of a gentleman in him.hahas(:
napped for 3hrs after i reached home! had a very unpeaceful sleep i must say.cos i kept being woken up by agency ppl calling me, haha must have given incoherent answers then O.o went for my job interviews after tt.
and i'm proud to announce that i'm finally HIRED! :D am now a faithful employee of SMRT; earning 1400 per month. which means i'm no longer a potential bankrupt! HURRAYS(: in love with the ultra friendly and cute recep at SMRT, super bubbly! and the ppl there seem rlly nice! i feel blessed suddenly(: i've to say a big THANKYOU to my agent! cos actually he told me he cld only offer me 7 per hr.i wanted to rej the offer alr, but he told me to just go for it! cos no harm rejecting them even after you got the offer.so i just went for it! haha and 10 minutes after the interview alvin(tts my agent) called to tell me i've been recruited! WHOOOOOOTS! and they adjusted my salary too! he told me tt apparently govt based private listed companies like SMRT will report a lower salary at first cos they dont want you to work for them cos of the money! haha SCHEMING! but happy nonetheless(: cos i'm on my first step to recouping my losses for mahjong, then earning for my taiwan trip! haha went for another interview too at suntec (my dream workplace! tied in first place w the raffles place's skyscrapers) at some US mnc. hahaha shall reveal their really unimpressive company name..
QUANTUM STORAGE. aha. dont images of storage crates suddenly pop into yr head? but the work env seems pretty nt bad, and the accountant who interviewed me was rlly nice! but when she explained the job scope to me, i was pretty frightened cos it involved bank reconciliation, translating trial bal into bal sheet, P/L, costing! omg but of cos on the surface, i just pretended to be cool and unfazed(hees), and i actually got the job too! but i guess SMRT being a listed and known company with a higher PAY is better(: so yays!
met up with my ex colleague after that to watch ironman! haha it was surprisingly good! the optimal combination of humour and savvy high technology kept me entertained throughout the two hrs movie, with my jaws hanging in utter amazement half the time! :D i'd give a 4.5 stars rating! so go watch it if you hvn!
ooh, yes. hall eleven SEA EXPEDITION blasted a huge hole in my pocket. 82 including canvassing and the actual rental itself. very not worth it! its like paying 50 for the standard chartered run to torture yrself? yea same logic! but still i wld like to thank my poor partner chinkee, whom i splashed seawater on everytime i paddled.oops! hahaha shall attribute it to the lack of eyes on the back of my head(x self-serving bias? hahaha and, psychology strikes again! :D
